Entrepreneur Pauline Bijvoet for Scarlette

 Today  (10th June 2014) we introduce our third Entrepreneur Miss Pauline Bijvoet who is running a very chic boutique hotel (Maison d’hôtes) as well as serviced apartments under the creative name of Scarlette.

Pauline is a business graduate who left France to explore the world and make her marks. In 2010, she came to India (New Delhi) and started her journey as a production manager for a reputed designer french brand. Her love for India, indians, its culture as well as the ambiance was instent and felt she could do something to stay longer. Her contribution is to offer a charming place where antics of india and of french culture meet.

Pauline told us that she couldn’t stay in place for long and was already looking out for new ventures in different industries. This young woman knows what she wants and will do whatever it takes to get it.

Like a handful of foreign entrepreneurs Sandra spoted an opportunity in the Real Estate Industry. In this very competitive yet highly un-regulated profession Sandra decided to bring a bit of her professionalism and make a difference in the chaos she observed.

Sandra’s Background prior the creation of Roof Real Estate Agency :

Originally from Bastia (Corsica) she left very quickly realising France wouldn’t offer the dreams she aspired for.

She went to Florida to work for the biggest French chef’s organizations (Paul Bocuse, Lenotre and Verger) as a sommelier and followed by joining luxury cruise line Disney Magic to finally land in India to develop a first venture LSA (“SPA  at home concept” with highly skilled therapists) and after 4 years of development in Delhi and Goa she settle In Delhi to start ROOF Real Estate Agency. (www.roofagency.com)

1) The stamp Paper ID number       2) Pan card number of the party that purchased the Stamp paper     3) Both the parties addresses and mobile numbers

At the time of registration you will need to bring :

For the Owner 

2 passport size photographs.

original ID proof and ADHAAR Card for indian citizens.

Original passport for foreigner nationals.

How to register an Employment visa in Delhi FRRO

Dear All,

Many people complain of the lack of information regarding the visa registration and extension etc.

Today we are going to tell you how to get your employement visa registered at the Delhi FRRO step by step. But you must keep in mind that new procedures, processes and additional documents can be asked anytime. So the information we are giving today (11th october 2013) may be outdated soon.

Step 1)    You must go to http://www.immigrationindia.nic.in/, click on registration and visa extension, then click on online registration….. and finally on online registration for foreigners …. (you should read the instructions as well), then click on online application submission the last page you will land on will ask you to mention the state and the city  you are residing in (Delhi, Delhi in our case). you must then select registration and submit. and then fill up the form. you will have to take several print outs.

Step 2)  you must add to your file a request letter, the required format is : 

 IT IS COMPULSARY TO BE AN ORIGINAL DOCUMENT ON ORIGINAL LETTER HEAD AND SIGNATURE (COPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)

 Do not forget to write the date, the subject : request letter and the attention : The FRRO Delhi 

We, (INSERT THE NAME OF YOUR COMPANY/EMPLOYER COMPANY).,  kindly request the FRRO Delhi to register MR/MRS/MS (PUT THE NAME OF THE APPLICANT)’s holding a (ADD YOUR NATIONALITY )  passport , Number being (TYPE YOUR PASSPORT NUMBER) and having an Employment visa (number is PUT YOUR VISA NUMBER)  in order for HIM/HER to carry on her activities in our company.

Authorized signatory (add the name of the concerned person)         

Step 3)  you must add to your file an undertaking letter from your company, the required format is : 

 IT IS COMPULSARY TO BE AN ORIGINAL DOCUMENT ON ORIGINAL LETTER HEAD AND SIGNATURE (COPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)

Do not forget to write the date, the subject : undertaking letter and the attention : The FRRO Delhi 

We ………(name of the company) ………….take full responsibility for the activities and conduct of Mr./Mrs/Ms  ……………………………….. national of…….(add the country where the person is from) who is a ( specify the status of the person) in our company, holding passport N° ……………………. And his/her family during their stay in India.

They will have to follow all rules, regulations, laws and by laws as a person and foreigner on the Indian territory.  If anything adverse comes to notice during this period, we undertake to repatriate them on our own cost.

Step 4)  Add two photocopies of your employment contract, make sure the salary and duration is specified on the document as they will cross check it to verify that you fall under the minimum annual salary thus paying your income tax in consequence.

Step 5) Add photocopie of your Lease agreement. if the lease is up to 11 months it can only be stamp by a notary public, otherwise if it crosses 11months then the lease will have to be registered at court as an address proof. If you live at some friend’s house the owner must write a letter attesting the he/she is the owner of the place and that he/she is hosting you during your stay in india and in addition to this letter you will have to show a proof of ownership of the owner such as an electructy bill in his/her name or any government authorized document.

step 6) Take extra passport size photographs just in case

Step 7) In case you do a late registration (after the number of days mentioned on your visa, in most cases it is 14 days but do crosscheck) Bring some cash as you will have to pay a penalty it shouldn’t exceed Rs 2,000/- in case of families, the penalty is per person.

Step 8) bring your patience with you 😉 a book or music etc as it may take you several hours to be called at the counter.
